The following day both Cathy and Christa Calbos joined the Trego gang for a safari – and all were glad to come back safe and sound. The highlight of the journey was watching over 25 elephants cross the road between the two cars – but the mamas started praying when the matriarch elephant came stomping towards one of the cars. All breathed a bit deeper as the herd moved on, and the rest of the visit included spectacular views of scenery and many other animals – hippos, warthogs, antelope, monkeys, giraffes, rhinos, and more. The first picture here shows all of us acting out our favorite animal.
